I have no complaints about Dr. Hsu and his staff at Bixby Knolls Oral Surgery. This is the place to come if you need their services! The staff is polite and very courteous. Dr. Hsu is friendly yet professional and very empathetic and really validated my concerns. I needed to have a tooth extracted so I was a little petrified to say the least. The last time I had a teeth extracted were my wisdom teeth back in the early 90’s and that was under anesthesia. During my initial consultation with Dr. Hsu I expressed my concern of having a tooth extracted with a basic general local anesthetic. Dr. Hsu listened to my concern and in so many words he guaranteed it wouldn’t be worth the hassle or extra money for me to go under anesthesia for a 15 minute tooth removal procedure. I left feeling somewhat confident. The closer it got to my actual appointment, the more anxious I began to feel. I did in fact call his office to see how much anesthesia would be. My insurance did not covered it. They billed per 15 mins starting at $294. Dr. Hsu was right. It wasn’t worth it! So the day of my appointment arrived. My anxiety was at a level 20. I have a low tolerance for pain. I wanted to feel nothing!! A

Dr. Hsu is a fabulous oral surgeon, and I’ve unfortunately been to many. I had a horrible infection in a tooth that already had a root canal. The pain was so bad I couldn’t stop crying. He was able to get me in right away. He was calm and thoroughly explained the procedure I needed. I tend to ask a million questions and he had no problem answering them all. He not only communicated with my dentist about the crown I needed, but took the time to call her as well. My dentist told me that that is rare, and she was impressed with the time he took. After the tooth was extracted he called me at home to make sure everything was okay. The office staff and nurses are wonderful as well. His office is clean and all of my appointments were on time. I would highly recommend Dr. Hsu!

Office was very nice & clean, staff very friendly and helpful. And Dr. Hsu was very very kind, answered all my questions, he even checked in with me the next day to ask how I was doing. I had a great experience at this office. I truly recommend it.

I highly recommend Dr Hsu. He was both professional and exceptionally kind. He was gentle and very considerate of my comfort throughout the procedure. His staff were efficient and warm. If you unfortunately need an oral surgeon, Dr Hsu will make you as comfortable as possible given the circumstances.
